The Earth Science Matters (ESM) Foundation is happy to announce the appointment of ESM Board Member Aberra Mogessie as a Representative of an International Associated Society in the newly established International Committee of the Geological Society of America (GSA). In that capacity Aberra Mogessie will serve GSA amongst others to coordinate and communicate options to promote international cooperation and to build collaborative relations with GSA Divisions and Associated Societies in international issues. The International Committee consists of 12 voting members and Aberra Mogessie’s term will last until July 2018.
